'Ek Villain Returns,' released eight years after the first, updates the premise of 'every narrative has a villain.' This time, the plot develops with two male protagonists who alternate between being hero and villain, one masked and the other seeking to uncover his true face. There might have been something to the theory that everyone has components of both a hero and a villain, and which one comes out on top depends on our circumstances. However, a disorganised narrative and mediocre performances do not equal a successful picture: in comparison, the underwhelming 'Ek Villain,' starring Siddharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh-Shraddha Kapoor, feels like a better film.
The cast of Ek Villain Returns includes John Abraham, Arjun
Kapoor, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, and J D Chakravarthy.
Mohit Suri is the director of the film Ek Villain Returns.
